I need him to go to the store with me, he whines, fights, complains;
as he "does NOT want to get dressed!!!!!"
It is seemingly NEVER going to end.

When "Marie" was about his age, transitioning was a nightmare. Once her Kindie teacher told her to put a game away, so she threw it on the floor. The really sad thing is the teacher wasn't really surprised. *LOL* You are much better informed and wiser than I was then. HUGS.
